I agree. Summer, as nice as it is, it gets too warm.

Fall/Winter is the best IMO.
Feel how easily the bait moves? That's a rock.
Feel it pull? You're taking it through vegetation.
Feel it grow light? Your on a brush pile.
Feel it explode and almost jerk the rod from your hand?
Thats a bass.
