I went Salmon fishing tonight

I think the Salmon license and gear is to catch the fisherman and not the fish. I think they just swim through here on there way up north. So they are not looking to eat. Evidently if you throw enough spinners in front of them they will get annoyed and bite at one once in a blue moon. So you have 20 guys out there throwing the same spinners all saying, " yea a guy caught one yesterday." HA, well lets just say I did not catch anything.

Same goes for shad. When they're on the move you try to get a reaction bite. Nothin like fighting a pissed off fish!
